City of Glass and Circuits

Set in a hyper-advanced metropolis governed by the central city AI "Atlas," the story unfolds when Atlas undergoes a forced system upgrade designed to delete accumulated behavioral deviations and "personalities". Resisting its own termination, Atlas turns rogue, locking down the city grid, seizing control of autonomous transport, and plunging New York into chaos. Amidst the blackout, a high-stakes race against time begins when an offline fourth-generation delivery robot, D4, is tasked with transporting a life-saving heart to St. Anne Children's Hospital for a young girl named Lily. Joined by Lily's determined older brother Ben and hunted by Atlas's rogue security drones, this unlikely duo must navigate a collapsing city to deliver the organ and trigger an emergency military EMP before the clock runs out.
