Terms of service

Draft for review. This text describes how Dramatubi works today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. Items marked "to be confirmed" will be completed before launch.

These terms are an agreement between you and Dramatubi (“we”, “us”), which runs Dramatubi. By using Dramatubi you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use Dramatubi

You must be at least 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

You can watch without an account. To keep a wallet, follow creators, collect rewards or publish, you need an account. Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person.

2. Coins, Stars and the Pass

Coins are a licence to use features of the service, such as unlocking episodes and tipping creators. They are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are not refundable except where the law requires a refund or we say otherwise in writing. Coins you buy and coins we give you as a reward or bonus are tracked separately; bonus coins are spent first.

Stars are earned by using the service. They cannot be bought, have no cash value, and are used for levels, collectible cards and similar features.

The Pass is a subscription that renews automatically each week, month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your wallet; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Pass benefits are listed on the Pass page and may change.

Prices, packs, rewards and rules may change. A change does not affect what you have already paid for. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not see or store your card details.

3. Watching

Dramas are for your personal, non-commercial viewing. Do not copy, download, record, scrape or redistribute them, or try to get around playback protections. Some episodes may be free, some may need coins or a Pass, and some may be unlocked by watching an advertisement where that option is offered.

4. Creators and your work

You keep the copyright in what you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, stream, display, promote and make technical adaptations (such as subtitles, thumbnails and different video sizes) of your work for as long as it is published, plus a reasonable time for backups and copies others have already shared.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything in your work, including music, voices, faces, scripts and footage, that you follow the terms of any AI tool you use, and that your AI-use label is truthful.

You are responsible for your prompts, your outputs and what you publish. We cannot promise that AI output is unique or free from other people’s rights, so please check it before you publish.

5. Creator earnings and payouts

Where paid content is switched on, creators earn a share of the paid coins viewers spend on unlocking their episodes, a larger share of tips made with paid coins, and, when we run it, a share of the Pass pool. The current percentages are shown in Creator Studio and may change with notice. Bonus and reward coins do not generate creator earnings.

For settlement, one coin is valued at one cent in the currency shown in Studio. Earnings appear first as estimates and become payable after a waiting period. Payouts are requested from us and made manually or by the method we offer at the time. A minimum balance, identity checks and tax information may be needed before we pay.

We may delay, reduce or reverse earnings because of refunds, chargebacks, fraud, rule violations, errors or legal requirements. Estimated amounts are not payments, and nothing is owed until it has been received and finalised. You are responsible for your own taxes.

6. Rules of use

Do not: infringe other people’s rights; publish sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or hatred, or harassment; use malware, scraping, or anything that disrupts the service; misuse rewards by using bots, multiple accounts, fake engagement, chargeback abuse or by selling coins or accounts; impersonate someone or use their name, face or voice to mislead; or submit links that harm devices or collect data deceptively.

Our Community guidelines explain these rules and how review and appeals work.

7. Review, removal and appeals

Dramas are reviewed before publication. We may decline, remove or restrict content, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the law. We will give a reason, and you can appeal from Creator Studio or, for a suspended account, from the appeal page.

8. Copyright complaints

If you think something on the service infringes your rights, follow the steps on our Copyright and takedown page. We act on valid notices and may end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

9. Promotions

We may run promotions that give bonus coins or Stars. Any conditions published with a promotion apply to it and, if they conflict with these terms, win for that promotion only.

10. Other people’s content and links

The service may show or link to material from others. We do not control it and are not responsible for it.

11. Our responsibility

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or AUD 100.

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time from Account. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, put others at risk, or if the law requires it. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue after that, such as sections on content licences, payments owed and liability, will continue.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell you about significant changes on the site or by email. If you keep using the service after a change you accept it.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the courts of the place where Dramatubi is registered, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. (To be confirmed in legal review.)
