Cookie policy

Draft for review. This text describes how Dramatubi works today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. Items marked "to be confirmed" will be completed before launch.

Dramatubi uses a small number of first-party cookies on Dramatubi. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no advertising provider is connected today.

Sign-in cookies (necessary)

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that keep you signed in. Without them sign-in cannot work.

Extra security cookie for administrators (necessary)

Staff performing sensitive actions get a short-lived cookie (about 10 minutes) proving they recently re-entered their password.

Viewing identifier for guests

If you watch without an account, we set a first-party cookie containing a random identifier. We turn it into a one-way pseudonymous key used to count views and watch time per episode per day, so creators can see how their drama performs. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with advertisers. Whether this needs a consent prompt in your region is to be confirmed in legal review.

Language choice (preference)

If you pick a language we save it in a first-party cookie called dramatubi_lang for one year so the site stays in your language. It holds only the language code.

Local storage

The video player remembers your volume, mute, playback speed, subtitles and autoplay choices in your browser's local storage so you do not have to set them again. These stay on your device and are never sent to us. Nothing else is stored there.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies means you cannot sign in.

Changes

If we add advertising or other third-party cookies we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
