How you can earn
Paid episodes, tips and the Pass pool, in plain words. · 4 min read
Paid episodes
When the platform has paid episodes switched on, you can choose how many opening episodes are free and what later episodes cost in coins (1 coin = 1 cent). Everything stays free until you set a price.
When a viewer unlocks an episode with coins they bought, you earn a share (the percentage is set by Dramatubi and shown in Studio → your drama → Paid episodes). Bonus coins that viewers received as gifts or rewards are spent first and do not earn a share.
Tips
Viewers can tip you with coins they bought. You earn a share of each tip.
Pass pool
Viewers with a Dramatubi Pass can watch paid episodes. When Dramatubi shares the Pass pool, a part of Pass payments is divided between creators by how long Pass members watched their paid episodes.
Getting paid
Earnings appear in Studio → Earnings as estimated first, then become payable after a waiting period (for refunds) once Dramatubi has approved its finance terms. Payouts are requested from an administrator; there is no automatic bank transfer yet. Check the Terms and your agreement for the details, and talk to an accountant about tax.
Publishing bonus
After you have bought coins at least once, each drama of yours that is published earns a small bonus of coins, up to a limit.
