Making vertical, short episodes that fit the platform
9:16, up to 3 minutes, and why that works. · 3 min read
Format
Dramatubi dramas are vertical (9:16, for example 1080 × 1920). Wide videos still play, but vertical fills the phone screen and is what viewers expect.
New uploads are limited in length (currently 180 seconds per episode) and file size (currently 500 MB). The exact limits are shown when you upload. Longer ideas work best split into several episodes that each end on a question or a surprise.
Quality
Export at 1080p or lower. Higher resolutions are not kept. A steady frame rate (24-30 fps) and loud-enough, clear dialogue matter more than sharpness.
Keep important faces and text away from the very top and bottom edges: phone controls and captions can cover them.
